Roman Yampolskiy is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Louisville and a leading expert in AI safety research. He has authored over 200 publications in the areas of AI safety, cybersecurity, biometrics, and machine learning. He is the founder and director of the Cyber Security Lab and has been recognized as one of the top AI safety researchers globally.

Dr. Yampolskiy holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo and has served as a consultant for government agencies and Fortune 500 companies on AI security matters. His research focuses on understanding and mitigating risks from artificial intelligence, including the development of safe AI systems and the study of AI alignment problems.
