Stephen Wolfram is a renowned computer scientist, theoretical physicist, and entrepreneur. After publishing scientific papers as a teenager, he received his PhD from Caltech by age 20 and became a MacArthur Fellow soon after.
He is the founder and CEO of Wolfram Research, the creator of Mathematica, the Wolfram Language, and Wolfram|Alpha. His 2002 book A New Kind of Science proposed a radical approach to understanding complexity and the universe through simple computational rules.
In 2020, he launched the Wolfram Physics Project to pursue the fundamental theory of physics using computational models. A prolific writer, speaker, and innovator, Wolfram continues to push boundaries in computation, science, and education.
